In the summer of 1989, in the American town of Derry, a group of teenagers come face to face with a demonic clown, an entity that appears every 27 years in the area and devours young children. Over the course of a terrifying summer, the seven friends must overcome their personal fears to fight the murderous, bloodthirsty clown known as Pennywise.
