We would like to inform you that for iStorm Cyprus Ltd the protection of our customers' personal data is of paramount importance. Depending on the website services you use, we collect and process the following personal data:

  • Identification & legalization data (name, date of birth, gender, identity or passport details, professional qualification, marital status, VAT number, social security number)
  • Contact details (postal address (E-mail), landline or mobile telephone number, email address, FAX)

  • To provide our products and services
    We collect personal data, for example, to provide the services you assign to us and wish to receive from us, such as the purchase of products (e.g. the purchase of an iPhone), or the technical support we provide to your devices, upon your request.

  • To place an online order
    Personal data is also collected when you place an order in our e-store, www.istorm.com.cy. To complete your order and create an account, you may be asked for more information, however, it will be the minimum required for the conclusion and execution of the contract. This information is marked as a mandatory field.

    As part of the order completion, some of this data is transferred to cooperating companies. Therefore, it is transferred to shipping companies for the transport and delivery of your goods. Shipping companies may contact you to request clarifications and to inform you about the delivery of your products. In addition, the data is transferred during the execution of payment to payment providers. We, for our part, use high security systems to prevent data leakage from malicious systems.

  • To create an account
     Personal data is collected when you create an account on store.istorm.gr, a website managed by iStorm. When creating an account, you may be asked for more information, however the minimum required for the conclusion and execution of the contract will be marked as a mandatory field.

    Also, by creating an account in our e-store you can edit your data to add or remove items. This information will be used to make the checkout process easier every time you visit our e-store and choose to be logged in.

  • For the issuance of insurance policies
    We process personal data (name, identity details, e-mail, telephone number, address, VAT number) to satisfy insurance coverage requirements or to issue an i-Support warranty extension contract for the products you purchase from our store, through the issuance of insurance policies and in order to proceed with the repair or replacement of your device.

    We may need to contact you via email or telephone for administrative purposes, such as for the management of your complaints and in general for the better service you receive. iStorm processes your personal data transparently according to the principles of lawfulness, proportionality, confidentiality and integrity, purpose limitation and accuracy, specific data retention time and data minimization.

The lawful basis for processing your personal data in each case may be:

iStorm transmits the personal data provided by individuals to third parties, to whom it assigns the processing of personal data on its behalf. Specifically:

A) to third-party companies, which contribute to the completion of an order in the e-store. Specifically, some of your personal data is transmitted to cooperating transport companies for the transport and delivery of your goods. The transport companies may contact you to request clarifications and to inform you about the delivery of your products.

In these cases, iStorm, as the Controller of your personal data, defines the individual elements of the processing, and signs a special contract with the third parties to whom it assigns the execution of processing activities, in order to ensure that the processing is carried out in accordance with the applicable legal framework and that each natural person can freely and unhinderedly exercise the rights granted to them by the legal framework.

The company has also ensured that those who process the data on its behalf meet the requirements and provide sufficient assurances for the implementation of appropriate technical and organizational measures, so that this processing ensures the protection of your rights.

Finally, the COMPANY shares your personal data with employees responsible for assessing your requests, managing your contract, as the case may be, for fulfilling the obligations arising from it, as well as the relevant obligations imposed by law. Your personal data is treated with and confidentiality, as the employees who process your personal data have a sufficient and significant level of knowledge to protect them and are bound by a confidentiality clause or are bound by an appropriate regulatory obligation of confidentiality.

Storage Period

The period of data storage is decided based on the following specific criteria depending on the case: When processing is imposed as an obligation by provisions of the applicable legal framework, your personal data will be stored for as long as the relevant provisions impose. When processing is carried out on the basis of a contract, your personal data will be stored for as long as necessary for the performance of the contract and for the establishment, exercise and/or support of legal claims based on the contract. Your CV is kept by us for twelve (12) months from its collection, unless, in the meantime, you inform us that you wish to delete it.
