macOS lets you resize the Dock, reposition it, hide it, and even choose the effect that occurs when you open or minimize your apps. Create your own Dock, based on your own needs, through macOS System Preferences and the Dock section.

Of course , as always, you choose which apps you always have available in the Dock. Simply drag the apps you're interested in to the Dock and remove the ones you don't use often by dragging them away from the Dock.
