What does iPlus cover?

Accidental breakage of glass surfaces.

Repair of your device, if feasible, or device replacement.

In case of replacement, your contribution will be:

€179 for all Pro and Pro Max models from iPhone X onwards, for iPhone 15|Plus and iPhone 14|14 Plus, as well as for iPad Air with M3 chip and all iPad Pro with M1 chip and later.

€99 for all other iPhones and iPads, as well as for Apple Watch Ultra and Ultra 2.

€49 for all other Apple Watches

  • Destruction or damage by fire.

  • Loss due to theft following a burglary or robbery.

  • Damage from contact with water.

Exceptions of the iPlus coverage:

  • Any loss of data in the event of covered damages.

  • Apple and third-party accessories that may be associated with the use of your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch.

After purchasing iPlus

Follow the instructions to accept the insurance terms that you will receive in your email.

Keep the receipt/invoice for the purchase of the device & iPlus, as well as the serial number and model of your iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch.

To receive your insurance certificate, you must submit your request through the iStorm contact form.

In the contact form:

  1. Select the category "General"
  2. Then, select "Documents and certificates"
  3. Fill in your details and enter the serial number of the device in your message
  4. Submit your request

For security and identification reasons, the request must be sent by the policyholder or a legal representative.

In case of damage

Visit an iStorm store with the following:


1. The covered device

2. The purchase document (receipt or invoice)

3. The insurance certificate

4. The damage declaration form, which you will find here .

FAQ

iPlus is a 12-month insurance package for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch that provides coverage for damages and the option to repair or replace your device through iStorm in collaboration with Generali Hellas.

iPlus is valid for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch devices.

Coverage exclusively pertains to the device (i.e., the serial number) stated in the contract and on the purchase receipt.

It covers the device's repair when feasible, or its replacement with the foreseen deductible, according to the program's terms. Coverage strictly concerns one (1) damaging event during the contract.

It is every claim event covered by the plan, as defined in the insurance terms.

iPlus covers strictly one (1) claim event.

It is very important to know that as soon as you make use of the insurance (for repair or replacement), the contract automatically ceases to be valid and there is no possibility of new insurance or renewal for the device.

You can acquire iPlus simultaneously with the purchase of your new device, or at a later stage, up to 90 days from the date of purchase (provided a technical inspection is carried out first).

If more than 90 days have passed, the device is considered "used". In this case, you can still insure it through the special annual program for used devices, after a technical inspection.

If iPlus is purchased at the exact same time you buy your device, no inspection is required.

However, if you decide to add it later (within the permitted 90-day period), it is necessary for the device to first undergo a technical inspection in order for it to be insured.

The insurance can be extended for 2 additional years, but exclusively through annual renewals.

Before the expiration of each 12-month contract, a technical inspection of the device is required at the store (provided it is eligible for service in Cyprus), in order for the renewal for the next 1 year to be processed.

Each annual renewal requires a technical inspection of the device by iStorm (provided it is eligible for service in Cyprus), to ensure it meets the coverage conditions based on the terms of the plan.

If the renewal is not carried out, iPlus cover expires at the end of the annual period and the device is no longer covered by the plan.

Insurance for used devices is available for 1 year and applies exclusively to iPhones and iPads (all Apple Watches are excluded).

A device is considered used if:

  • it was purchased outside iStorm, provided it is officially supported for service in Greece.
  • it was purchased from iStorm and more than 90 days have passed since its purchase date.

To activate iPlus, a technical inspection of the device is required beforehand, in accordance with iStorm procedures (it must be eligible for service in Cyprus).

Insurance for refurbished devices is strictly valid for one (1) year and does not include the option for additional extension or renewal.

You will need to have with you:

  • the insurance certificate
  • the device purchase receipt
  • the iPlus purchase receipt

If you do not have the insurance certificate available, you can request it through the iStorm contact form, by selecting "General" and then "Documents and Certificates".

To receive your iPlus insurance certificate, submit your request through the iStorm contact form. Select the category "General", then "Documents and Certificates" and include the device's serial number in your message. For security and identification purposes, the request must be sent by the policyholder or a legal representative.
